I ordered a large since that is the size I use in other jackets. While it was a smallish large, the real problem was that the armholes were too small or misplaced and so restricted arm movement. I like soft-shell jackets, so I had to return this one and get an extra large version which is slightly too large but at least I can move my arms freely. I will update after I have worn it a while.
The jacket is just as described and fits well. The Small size fit just right and I'm 6 foot and 150 lbs for comparison. The fleece interior is surprisingly warm though I haven't done physical activity to test its breathability.

I have had this jacket for about a year now. I just took it back out for the fall chilly weather. I am 6'1" and 200 pounds. I ordered a regular XL. It fits perfectly. I used it last spring for skiing at Red Lodge. It is just right for skiing in 30-50* F. temps. It is not bulky at all, yet movement is not restricted. It has just the right number of pockets. I wear it frequently when the temps drop below 60. It has held up wery well. I would not recommend it for temps under 40 unless you are active, or using it as a liner. Its trimmer fit allows me to wear it comfortably under a leather jacket. I would recommend ordering 1 size up if there is any question, as it is long enough, but does run a bit slim.
