This is a great jacket for wind and drizzle, but so hard to find the right fit! I tried many sizes; a Woman's Large (a little shoulder snugness, sleeves almost feel long enough), a Woman's Extra Large (way too large, I swim in it), and a Man's Medium (Sleeves a good length, shoulders okay, length is a bit too long). I wanted to pick the Man's Medium, but the LL Bean logo is bright white, big bold print, left side of my chest. (The Woman's XL didn't have one, the Large has it at the bottom, smaller print.) My husband purchased a Man's Medium Tall. He has no logo on his, something we prefer. His statement is, "When we spend alot of money on a jacket, we shouldn't have to advertise for them." What did I pick? The Woman's Large... I really wanted a jacket for travel, and this seemed like the option with the fewest negatives. I might drab down the bright white logo with a black marker, though.
On the blue jacket you should have used siler or white for the LLBean logo. Can i get that done on my jacket so that you can see it,the dark blue you can not see.Other then that a great jacket.
I have owned this jacket and vest of the same material for a couple of weeks. I have been wearing them in cool and rainy weather. I am satisfied with their insulating and breathable qualities. I generate alot of body warmth and they breathed well.
I bought a small size in both and they fit well even though I wear a 42 in a suit jacket.
