ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
at this price point, it's one of the better deals available. I'm in between a large and medium and purchased the medium, as most Bean products are a size bigger for me. the medium fits perfectly. the sleeves aren't tight at all and i have an athletic build. it's about 20 degrees outside and wearing this, along with a vest over it and i'm really warm. it's also very light weight and comfortable. it's like your wearing a light spring jacket but with the attributes of a winter quality coat. i also like the appearance, as its subtle and understated, not looking too techy. the LL Bean logo on the chest is actually black, the same color as my jacket, which i also like. the photo shows it being visible in white, which isn't the case. overall, i'm very happy with the fit and quality. this can easily be worn from fall, through winter and into spring. it can be worn during any outdoor activity or a night out with friends. very versatile.
This is a great jacket. I am usually in between a small and medium on most clothing choices and the small fit perfectly. I would highly recommend this product as the outer layer does well in snow/wet conditions and the lining on the inside keeps me warm. It is surprisingly warm in Minnesota winters
Nice jacket and warm. But, as the jacket tapers in the sleeves they are too tight to have a long sleeve shirt on let alone a watch on too....ended up returning.
ProsComfortable, Performing as Expected, handles wind well
With a mid weight base layer, a fleece vest under it and a Tek2.5 hooded shell over this coat I could ski in pretty cold conditions. I'll find out shortly.
Wish they'd had this 25 years ago when I was a ski instructor.
