I bought this jacket in black to wear with business clothes through the fall here in Chicago. It's warm and comfortable, and the sleek exterior makes it look appropriate with professional attire. The fit is very slimming on me. I'm a size 16 and the XL fits perfectly with room for a light sweater. It's nicely shaped and not boxy.

I had been looking for a jacket of this type for some time & wasn't satisfied until I found Bean's Pathfinder Soft-Shell Jacket. I love the material - water beads up & rolls off - and the fit. There are lots of pockets of different sizes that are very convenient. Overall, a very comfortable & fashion-forward jacket.

I've been waiting 3 yrs for Bean to offer a Soft Shell Jacket. Had purchased one from another company but didn't like it much. The Pathfinder is definitely 'a cut above'. Especially the design on the cuffs to prevent cold air from going up the sleeve. The fit is perfect; did I mention it also looks good on me? I did have to order 1 size larger as I like a little more room to move and these are designed for a snug fit.
