I normally wear a size 8B. I ordered these sandals in a size 8. I really liked the look, but I felt they didn't fit me properly. The size 8 felt smaller than average, width and length. Because I do have the LLBean Visa with the free return shipping, I ordered size 8.5 for comparison. The size 8.5 in this case was perfect.
These are the best. They're cute for the beach but have a really supportive yet cushy bottom. They're also sturdier than most flip-flops. I wore them for a week in the Caribbean and now wear them around the house all the time. They even make it over Boston's cobblestones for pedicures. They're great for us "is it hot in here or is it me" gals. They keep your feet cool and lengthen your legs.
For me these stylish thongs are the perfect alternative to the flip flop. They have a cool, open style like a flip flop, but the wedge heel provides comfortable arch support. Traditional flat thongs make my feet and legs ache by the end of the day. I am very happy with these.
