Ive been lookiing for a down jackets for a few months and i was torn between this one and one from EB. Im glad i got this one. Im 6'1 and wear a L/XL. I got an XL in this and it fits perfect. Not to mention all my friends love it.
Very warm and nicely fitted. Catalog suggests buying your regular size and it fits but would rather have gotten the next size up for slightly more room.
This is a nice jacket as far as looks go. I like the lining. But it is not going to suit my purpose. I wanted a new ski jacket and this jacket just isn't going to be warm enough. It is unfortunate because it was rated under the category "warmest" for outerwear. I find it hard to believe that one would be warm in this coat at -10degrees. It doesn't feel like it has enough down. I will be returning it.
Gave it to my wife as gift (she provided strong hint she wanted this jacket). She loved it - the color, the lining, the fit, the warmth, and the weight - it was light yet warm. She also mentioned that she liked the small subtle feminine refinements sewn into the jacket. She wore it out tubing down a steep snow slide and snow boarding in the Cascade Mtns. on cold snowy days so it passed a good test.
