ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I'm a sweater girl, so with this over my sweaters, I'm very warm. I love the super soft microplush fleece inside the hood/collar. The silver birch is very versatile and I wear it with my casual dress wear to work as well as with comfy casual jeans/yoga pants. It was true to size for me (medium). I was worried about the pearly white-ish silver birch color and keeping it clean; however, I spilled cappuccino on it in the car without realizing it and it simply wiped off later (dried on!) with a baby wipe I had in the car. Amazingly easy to clean!
I am SO disappointed in this jacket. I wore it at 25 degrees outside and was freezing! Not enough down, very thin but a great hood. I had 2 down coats and several down jackets from LLBean and loved every one until this one. I purchased the jacket at the end of the season and thought I'd have a great, new jacket for this winter but unfortunately it's going back.
I love this coat because it is light weight, and you can layer it with other coats if needed. It is very warm and comfortable without being big and bulky. The detail put on the coat is also a nice touch (inside the zipper and on the sleeve). I chose the crocus color and have received nothing but comments on the color.
