This jacket is stylish and warm. The petite size is perfect for someone my height (5'1' +/-) (especially re: sleeve length it's only a lil' long vs being way too long). However, the gunmetal gray color is quite a few shades darker than the picture (about 3) and it has somewhat of a midnight blue hue in the sheen. I don't mind it, I need the jacket and I like the darker shade. Also, the flap that is behind the zipper is gray with a black flower motif on the website picture, in reality it is very dark gray with a teal/electric blue flower motif. The zipper also has blue details instead of the gray & black ones zippers pictured here. I think it makes it a lil' more trendy & feminine -which could be a plus or a minus depending on you.
This jacket is warm and soft. Great for Northern Vermont winters. The fit is flattering and the fleece around the neck and in the hood is cozy. I usually wear a small but ordered a medium so that when wearing a sweater it would be comfortable. The fit is perfect. I only wish the fleece was in a darker color to match the color of the jacket. It is a very light beige and does not coordinate with the purple of the jacket. I have a little trouble with the zipper as it does not always click into place to facilitate zipping it up. It isn't enough of a nuisance to send the jacket back.
The last time I wore a puffy jacket I felt like the Michelin man. No more. I love this thing. Great color. Easy to move in. Warm, lightweight. I wouldn't have minded a couple of more inches in length, but I love this jacket.
I absolutely love this jacket. It is very warm and the flexibability is great. You don't feel weighted down. Easy to move around in. The color choices were great too!
