The jacket is well made and comfortable on my ten year old. He likes the jacket because it is not bulky and heavy and water resistant. He has patrol at school in the early AM and this certainly works out well. The reflective triangle was a plus for him and myself.

This purchase was the third or fourth set of this same jacket style for my two sons (6-1/2 and 8 years old) as they have been outgrowing them since they were small. The quality is wonderful and even after their wearing them and my washing/drying them as necessary, they are still in wonderful enough condition that I feel good about passing them on to friends' children for their use. Will continue to buy this style as long as it is in their size (and my boys' taste).
I recommend Trail Model Rain Jacket, Fleece-Lined instead. Didn't like the color and seemed too heavy for fall/spring jacket but too light for winter jacket.
