My son loves this jacket, which is saying a lot for a kid who only wears hoodies! It's warm and soft, but not overly stuffy for our Northern California rainy winter. Thanks LL Bean!

Very warm, but not too bulky--my 10 year old wears every day. LLBean gave me credit when coat went on sale week after I bought it--excellent service.

Couldn't be happier with this purchase. I was worried that it wouldn't be warm enough for Chicago winter but it is perfect! Although it does not run big-my son is a big 8 yr. old and normally wears a 10 and I have him in the large in this coat which is 14/16!

great winter jacket for mild winters

Plenty warm enough for mid-atlantic winters, the fleece is very soft and plush and the outer shell does great against the wind. A top buy!
