My 13 year old son loves this jacket, especially because it is not too big and bulky, but still keeps him warm. He wears it with a sweatshirt and it is perfect!

My boys (10 and 5) love their hooded warm up jackets. I like the updated styling with the contrast trim compared to the old solid colors. The warmth is perfect for cold, but not freezing climates like here in North Carolina. The jackets wear well and make for perfect hand me downs. I definitely recommend ordering one size larger than you normally would so they have room to grow!

Based on reviews of this coat, I bought a Size 8 for my 5-yr old boy (he wears a size 6x-7 t-shirt). It seemed big at first, but he likes it! Unlike previous 'snow coats', he is willing to wear this one with layers and will even keep it on in the car, as it is not bulky or stiff. For our weather (Oregon), this coat is the perfect weight. I like the fleece-lined hood, which is roomy enough for a snow hat.
