My 9 year old is very happy with this coat. We are having unseasonably cold weather down here in SC, and he has been wearing it often. Had purchased for our annual ski trip, but am happy to have it now.
Originally got this for my daughter because she needed a coat for playing in the snow. Fairly water resistant, warm, but lightweight. Perfect for sledding and snowball fights. My wife likes the bright color which makes our daughter easy to spot in a crowd.

My grandson loves this jacket. He said it is comfortable. He likes the way it looks, it's warm and he doesn't feel like he is wearing a bulky jacket. This jacket is light weight, but it is still warm and there is plenty of room to layer if you need to. It also fit his husky brother. It looks good on. I got a size 14. He is 12 and average to small for his age. His brother is 10 and very husky if this helps for sizing.

Purchased this jacket for my 7 year old son. He loves it! Especially the fleece lined hood- very soft. He has 2 recesses a day and stays warm (Michigan has had a cold windy Dec. thus far). The green/carbon is a really cool color combination.
