Really nice light fleece jacket which I got for my 12 year old son based on the positive reviews. Since he is slightly taller than average for his age, I ordered the 14-16 for him. So disappointing when it arrived today, and the sleeves and body are about 2 inches too short. Despite concerns about overall fit, I'm going to return and try the XL18 - seems bizarre to be doing that to fit a 12 yr old boy, especially since other LLBean items fit more true to size.
I started with a baby fleece hoodie 7 years ago and every year I buy another one. They are being passed down by three grandchildren aged 8, 5, and 2 and the children call them the Yiayia jackets. Durable, warm, long-lived hoodies. Thank you LL Bean for continuing to make and sell the same quality product for 7 years. I hope I send them to college someday with their Yiayia jackets.
This jacket is awesome!! The color is so great(Violet Indigo) and it is so soft and washes up well. I would highly recommend this coat for any kid! It is great for the fall and spring.
