Great item, need more color choices
PostedSeptember 6, 2010
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
We have several of these Trail Model fleece jackets handed down from cousins and friends. I love them and they really hold up well. My only concern is the color choices. I would like to see more dark solids for boys (hunter, burgandy, charcoal) and even some general colors like kelly green or yellow. These are a great unisex piece and I was disappointed to see this years color choices.

I've been getting these for both my boys now for several years, and they've been perfect. The hoods make them useful well into the colder months. Wish LLBean would provide this in more dark (boy) colors!!

Our family can't live without these fleeces! They are hard-wearing, water-resistant, and the fleece stays lovely and fluffy, wash after wash after wash. Our first Trail Model Fleece is now on its third child and still looking good.

Warm and fuzzy!
PostedDecember 18, 2009
I bought this in a toddler size for my little guy and it's great. Perfect warmth for any days we would play outside for Dallas winters. The hood slips off now and then and doesn't fit snug around his ears, but that could just be because I bought it a little big. Stick on a stocking cap underneath and you've got the ears protected from the wind and keep the hood from slipping.
