Recently a passenger on a flight spilled red wine on my daughter's similar jacket. The water resistant feature allowed me to dab it with paper towels and remove all signs of the stain! After washing, it looks good as new!
This is my 7th or 6th fleece purchase for family members in the same number of years - so that should say it all. One note - beware the detailing. I purchased a red jacket for my five year old daughter without zooming in on the nylon zipper extenders which are a truly ugly camouflage print if you are female. That would be a continuing complaint I've had overall, the annual color selection is really bad some years.
I have ordered these jackets over the past few years for my children and I love them. They are easy to wash, keep the kids warm, and are very durable. I wouldn't use this jacket in winter weather but it is perfect for Autumn. Some incidents of threads unraveling have occurred but it has never been too much of a problem. Anyways, we could always return a product if it didn't function properly or stand up to Bean's quality guarantee.
