I bought these shirts as part of a school uniform requirement for my daughter. I've been purchasing Bean polo shirts and mock-necks for her to wear at Junior K over the last few years, and they held up beautifully. When we needed white Oxford shirts, I went back to LL Bean and purchased them without hesitation. They are a nice 100% mid-weight cotton. The cut is roomy and the shirt looks terrific. This is a lovely shirt. I noticed how soft it was as soon as I had removed it from its package. My son usually wears t shirts, but I want him to have a button down shirt for special occasions. He likes the shirt because it is soft and it is like his Dad's dress shirt.
