My son is very picky about his clothes. If it's not comfortable I don't even buy them 'cause he won't wear them. He tried these on and told me to please get more 'cause he loved them!
Very much like the ones my husband wears to work everyday and they last forever.
My son had a couple of pairs of these pants, some new, some hand-me-down. They are soft and comfortable, but look neat for dressier occasions, and have worn well. The problem is, he grew too tall for the ones he had (size 4,) and the next size up is so big we have to cinch the waist in all the way and roll up the cuffs! This doesn't look dressy at all. He has a hand-me-down pair in size 5-6 (from about 5 years ago, I'm guessing) that fit perfectly, but the new pair is huge. We would love to see a plain size 5 rather than 5-6, and look forward to him growing into the new pair. We would also love to see a lined version.
It was hard to find chinos that would pair nicely with a blue, wool blazer, but these did the job without looking chintzy. Fabric is a good weight. These are true to size but a little long; they have the elastic in the waist that allows size adjustment.
My son has worn four different sizes of these pants now (4th - 8th grade). They work well for school or casual wear and although he is picky about texture, he finds them very comfortable. A wardrobe staple.
