As always, when shopping L.L.Bean, we received superior quality product. These trousers should last the remainder of the school year - or until his next growth spurt - whichever comes first - and will still be in great shape to pass along to other students.
Bought pants in past from LLBean and no problems but these don't even come close to fitting around the waist. Buy 2 sizes larger and turn them up if you want. I'm returning both these and the cords. Neither fit my boys ages 8 and 11.
These are the best pants in terms of fit and comfortable material for my son to wear to his school. The pants are great as a part of his school uniform. I've bought other pants before and they end up stiff as card board. I will only order these pants going forward. Something about sending your kid to school in comfortable pants, makes for a much better day sitting in class learning all day. You won't be disappointed with this purchase. The pants also hold up well under being scrubbed and scrubbed to remove grass stains - and they come out. Pants looking like new.
