Pants were purchased for our grandson. He took an instant liking for the pants. He cannot wait to wear them to school. He especially liked the feel of the material. He expressed his feelings by describing the pants as "cool".
The pants these replace had sturdy fabric and dyes. After just one wearing, one school day, the knees are faded on the new styling. I like the back buttons, the old style used to bunch up at the back pockets. Other than that, I could not recommend the darker colors for these pants. So far, the tan ones are decent, but I believe they will wear out fast unless 'babied'. Not something I want to do for daily wear boys' clothing.
This is the second year that I have ordered these pants for our girls, even though they are boy pants. They are perfect for their uniform for school and are so durable. Another phenomenal LL Bean product that we will continue to purchase for years to come.
