I bought these for my eight year old son for school. The quality was fine but the pants were huge! We had to cinch them in at the waist as much as they would go but they were so baggy every where else they looked faintly ridiculous. My son can wear either slim or regular--these looked to be "husky." Ended up returning them.
I love these pants for my very active and busy boys. They wear these to school performances, church, or out to dinner (I save them for the nicer occasions) but these pants would be fine for everyday wear too. I love the LL Bean quality and price and the adjustable waist band!
These hold up well to the abuse an eight year old boy gives them at school. I used to buy the cheaper department store uniform pant and would have to replace them half-way through the school year because of holes in the knees. I started buying these and they lasted through the whole school year and looked great!
