I got these boots last week and have barely taken them off. Worn at the hockey rink, outside for 3 hours at 20 degrees. My toes would have been numb in any other boots. These are perfect and so comfortable.
I wore the boots without socks and the shearling feels thick and luxurious. The fit was exactly what I expected for this type of boot--just a bit close at first to allow for some compaction of the shearling with wear. I ordered my regular size and am very happy that I did. The stitching is even and the color (graphite) was just what I hoped it would be. I hesitated before buying them because I have a pair of a significantly more expensive Australian brand and I was concerned that the LL Bean boots would not measure up to them. If I had closed my eyes I would not have been able to tell the difference. I will definitely stay with LL Bean for future purchases.
This is my 4th pair of these. We have a family chocolate business and it is always cold, but my feet stay wonderfully warm! Also, I have a giant schnauzer who wants to go for long walks no matter what the temperature. These are warm and comfortable for the task. Love them!
