This is my second pair of these boots in the last several years. I wear an 8.5 but they do not come in half sizes. My first pair was a 9 and they stretched out a bit too much and I had to wear thick socks. I bought these in an 8 and they are still a bit snug but I expect they will loosen up a bit. Right now I am in my bare feet, but they are so warm that it is fine, even at minus 17 this morning.
I have been buying these boots for years since I slipped and fell in a competitors brand. They are warm and toasty. Don't wear socks with them. Ever! Wore them in Wisconsin in winter. Kept me warm. Wear them year-round because I live on the California coast and it is always cool and cold. Just returned from. Freezing temps in northern CA and Oregon kept me warm. They never overheat either!
Shearing interior excellent cold weather protection for foot. Safe tracking on snow covered surfaces, no icy surface yet so can't judge for that condition. Workmanship appears excellent. Due to need to order up to an even size, boots felt loose when walking so I found it necessary to put full length inserts in both boots to prevent feet lifting in boot as I walked.
