I've been looking to replace my much-loved but very worn out shearling boots for several years, but was always put off by the very high price for a new pair. We get a lot of winter snow in Utah, and I've loved wearing my boots when I walk my dog several times a day. When I found these on the LL Bean website, I was pleasantly surprised at the very reasonable price compared to the well known competition. I'm always hesitant to order shoes online because I have large feet and many shoes don't fit me, but knowing LL Bean's great reputation for customer service, I was confident if they didn't fit or measure up, I could return them without hassle. They arrived within a few days, and I have been absolutely delighted with the quality, comfort and fit. I would recommend them to anyone.
Yes!! These boots exceeded exceptions--by far. SO warm! And they just hug my feet--SO comfy! Honestly. I'm thinking of ordering another pair, so I have one for outdoor wear (not co concerned about slush & salt) and another pair for indoor use. Would give them 10 stars if I could!
Why don't you make these with a zip up side? The only zipper boot you have has heels. These are difficult for older people to get into, and instead, you suggest they wear a boot with heels. Thanks alot.
