I love these boots, but I need a smaller size and LL Bean does not make them in a 5.5. I am a narrow, 5.5 footed person. Please make a smaller size and a darker brown. I love you all but this is sad that you do not go smaller than a 6.
I was going to buy another pair of boots, and thought to look to see if Bean's had any new colors. The "graphite" did not seem very exciting (I was thinking red), but I realize that it is in style and also that it goes with all of the things the dark brown ones I got last year do not. Last year's were my first boots of this kind, and I love them. The gray ones are similarly great--extremely warm and comfortable, and they just give you a cosy feeling. The one drawback is that sometimes my socks fall down inside, especially if the socks are flimsy ones. But I think this problem got better with time with the brown ones. If the boots feel a bit tight to start with, don't worry, the shearling will conform itself to your foot.
I ordered these boots in graphite in a size 8. I wear an 8 in shoes, boots, & slippers. The 8 was too large, so I exchanged them for a 7 & they fit well, so I'm keeping them. They look very nice, & are well lined & warm. You probably would want to order 1 size down.
I now have two pair of these wonderful boots and I love them... the original brown and now the new graphite color which is beautiful. Nothing but shearling keeps my feet really warm and once the weather gets cold in New England I wear them both outside and inside, hardly taking them off except for bed! These are the best and are very good looking and extremely comfortable.
