These were a present for my stepdaughter, who is a college student and very fashion conscious. She absolutely LOVES them, says she prefers them to the Uggs (and they were way less expensive too). I tried them on and they felt so cozy I may have to get a pair for myself!

I did extensive research before buying these boots. After reading all the comments and checking out the more pricey similar style boots, I decided to try LL Bean's shearling boots and I have to say I am very happy with my purchase. My daughter wanted a pair of this style boot for Christmas. We checked several stores and online sites and settled on LL Bean. These appeared to be the best value for the money. I ended up getting a pair in a different color for myself as we spend hours in the cold walking for prolife witness and these boots are perfect! No frozen toes! We have narrow feet but they fit fine with at least midweight or heavy weight socks. My daughter loves the style which is quite popular right now; we are both very happy. They appear very well made and if they don't hold up, I'll let you know.
