ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I love these boots. Please seriously consider offering them in black. Tan and Brown are interchangeable colors when matching, but I would like to have black. I think many other people would buy these boots if they were offered in this color, or like me, come back for a second pair! I do NOT want to give my money to another company. I want to buy from L.L.Bean but I can't unless they are created in black.
I usually wear a 6.5 or 7, and as the instructions said "half sizes order up," I ordered a size 7. It ended up being WAY too big. The moment I took one boot out of the box I knew it was too big. Sent it back.

I have foot problems and have treated for years. I wear soft-topped shoes 100% of the time. I have not been able to wear boots for years. Since I live in a very snowy location, it makes it rough to go out in normal shoes during the winter. These boots are so well made and padded that I am able to wear them in comfort. I will be able to get out and about with a large degree of safety and they are beautiful besides!

I bought a pair of black coffee boots and wore them non-stop until it became much too hot for boots. They are hands-down the most comfortable boots I've ever worn-- it's like walking barefoot on the most expensive carpet all day long (don't wear socks with them, they cut you off from the best part of wearing them). I bought wicked good slippers to wear at home just to off-set the disappointment I felt when I got home and took off my boots (p.s. the slippers are great, too). I'm glad I got the mid-hight because they can get warm at work. I'm a complete shearling convert-- I even have shearling flip flops for summer slippers.
