I ordered these boots as a present to myself. Both my husband and I have the Wicked Good Slippers and really like them. I wear a size 8 in pretty much every shoe. I ordered these in a size 8. I was going to go with a 7 based on other reviews, but they were not available at the time. the 8s came and felt great, but a little big. I tend to have problems with the squished toe feeling. I went to a local store and tried a 7, but it did squish the toes. So I stayed with the 8s and just wore them for the first time. My feet felt so good. I do wish they came with a care card or something telling you how to care/clean them. I work at a dirty place so I am afraid to wear them at work. But they'll make great weekend boots!
I have tried them all, Uggs (way to expensive), Emu (OK) Warmbatt (to hard to find) No Surrender (to hard to find) but just like Goldie Locks these are just perfect. For my Diabetic feet these are the answer. I am cosily warm with support and the bit weather proofing you gave them makes all the difference to my tootsies. The price is perfect, not to much and not cheap. Even with the exchange and shipping they were very reasonable. The only request I have is please make them in black.
I've been a L.L. Bean customer for years and have never, ever been disapointed with anything purchased. In fact my husband still wears the coat he bought for work in 1990. It really and truly dosen't look a whole lot differnt from when he first got it, no rips or tears and he is up and down ladders constantly. We have replaced the zipper once and it needs doing again. The first zipper lasted 10 years!!!!!! Your quality is amazing and reliable. Thanx
I LOVE the warmth of these boots, which I've found hold up to the Minnesota winters where I live.
I recommend them but disagree with their 'if you're a 1/2 size- order up' suggestion. HALF SIZES ORDER DOWN!
I understand wanting to carry them in whole sizes only to minimize costs for the company but they need to still make some adjustments.
I'm a standard 7 1/2 and have had to get the size 6 boots for a stable fit. Although the 7's were only a little long in length, the real problem came with the width at the ankle- too wide. Honestly, I am overweight and have thick ankles so for them to be too wide on my ankle is saying alot!
