Ordered these boots a 1/2 size larger as instructed by the catalog and they were WAY too big. I agree with other reviews. These are nice warm boots, very similar to their more famous look-a-likes but I would definitely recommend ordering a size down. I wear an anywhere from a size 7.5 to an 8.5 depending on the show and the 7's in these are plenty big enough even with heavy socks. They seems to be a medium width, not too tight, not too wide.
I bought these boots two years ago and LOVED them. I decided it was time to replace them and I am completely disappointed and will be returning them. The soles have been changed to mimic the look of the popular Australian brand. They are useless... the tiniest bit of snow gets stuck in the minimal treads making them treacherous to walk on hard wood floors. I usually buy LL Bean products because they are practical and rugged and they are completely useless. If they ever make them with soles made of rubber with real traction I would consider trying them again.
I just received these boots, whicih was a nice surprize considering the Christmas rush. They are VERY comfortable.right out of the box. They are somewhat roomy. So if you are not planning to wear heavy socks with them size down a half size
