I bought these to wear indoors, actually, to keep my feet warm in my cottage in the winters, before the heat gets going in the mornings. They are just fantastic, fit perfectly, and save the trouble of changing slippers if I need to step outside briefly. The fit is true, they actually are maintaining their interior "fluff", and the soles are thick enough to actually provide a good supportive cushion. Will probably wear these out without taking them off!

These boots are warm and comfortable. I was worried that they would not grip well on icy surfaces, but they have been fine. I wear 7 1/2 and purchased the 8. They just fit. I would not be able to wear a thick sock, they fit that close, but they are so warm, you don't need anything else. Definitely buy up a size.
This is the second pair of boots of this style I have purchased. The first pair is still in great shape but for outdoors only, and the second pair is for indoors only. My apartment is very drafty and with the winter cold drafts I have found that only a pair of boots will keep my feet and lower legs warm. I have other LLBean slippers, but they did not cover the lower part of my legs. So I love these boots - they are comfy, soft, the right height and easy to slip on and off. The first pair is brown and the second is dark grey. The boots are a bit pricey, but I tried so many ways to ensure warmth and nothing worked. I'm so glad I got the second pair and highly recommend them if you're looking for a solution for this type of particular problem.
