I bought these for my dad who is 75 and in good health. He needed something that would be easy to get on and off, would have some cushioning and also provided traction. These slippers fit the need.
i purchased these for my boyfriend three years ago and he loves them so much that he practically lives in them year round. he says they don't slip around and they're warm, comfy, and easy on/off. even though the rubber sole is still completely in tact, the inner heal has begun to wear away and after washing them a few times they stink something awful! lol (has nothing to do with ll bean quality, obviously) so i decided he's due a fresh pair :)
Ordered these slippers in my size, and expecting that with an open back they would fit more or less. These slippers have a ridge on the back edge and a tight front so that my foot never quite fit the slipper. The ridge in back was not comfortable, and the slippers did not stay on my feet. Don't know if another size would fit better, but these slippers really need to be tried on before purchasing. I liked the fact that these were fleece, but like some fleece items, the fit hasn't been well designed.
