These are well made with thick fleece uppers attached to a thick dense foam composition sole. Although there is no arch support they are very comfortable and especially nice in the winter but might be too warm for summer use.
These seem to be worn best barefoot. Socks tend to rub against the fleece and ride down. Also, they are sized a little small. I would order at least one shoe size greater to insure comfortable fit.
I own a pair which have seen daily (6-8 hours) indoor use for over a year. They are comfortable and have held up well. They do run a bit small but I found my normal size acceptable after a brief break in. I recently purchased a second pair for future use.
I bought these for my husband after reading several reviews. They are very comfortable and warm and he loves the fit. However, he has had them only 2 months and only wears them at night around the inside of the house and 50% of the sole on one slipper is hanging off. I had read that this was something that could happen in other peoples reviews but most of them had had the slipper longer than 2 months and were wearing them outside. I would recommend a different choice.
I would suggest buying a size larger than you would normally. I wear a 9.5 shoe so bought a 10 in the slipper. It is tight to get it on. At this point I appear to have stretched it out somewhat, but I still find that my heel needs to be wedged in to get a good fit. But once on, very comfortable.
