I bought these for my husband.he couldn't even get his foot in.he does have wide feet and high arches. Shoe has heavy sole too.shouldn't have purchased but I returned them.
Bought these in hopes of them fitting my wide, flat feet. I typically wear an 11.5 EEEE in running shoes (with orthotic inserts - I severely overpronate) and was concerned that these would be too narrow. I've purchased slippers from other manufacturers that claim that theirs are "great" for wide feet, only to discover that they don't fit me so well. Lo and behold, these slippers fit great! Initially, they were a tad snug. After a couple of weeks of wearing them, they have broken in quite nicely. If anything, they are really a tad long (I bought a size 12), but the width is plenty adequate. The rubber sole is great for quick trips outside (just not in the rain) and the scuff design means I can slip these on quickly and without fuss in the middle of the night for trips to the bathroom or kitchen. Now, I can't put my orthotic inserts in these and there is little in the way of heel or arch support, but I don't go on long walks or runs in these, either. These are just for "around the house" and for that they are plenty fine. If you are on the fence, like I was, about whether these will fit your wide feet, I say give them a try.
These are a birthday gift for my husband to replace ones (not LL Bean) that wore out. I was delighted to find these in your catalog since I had not found any of this style in our local area. The sturdy sole was a bonus. They are the exceptional quality found in LLBean products. Our family has purchased from LLBean for 50 years.
