Years ago I received a pair of LL Bean Men's Fleece Slipper Scuffs and wore them out. I tried to find an equivalent locally without success and was disappointed to find them out-of-stock last year. This year they were ordered early for my upcoming birthday and the slip-on slippers will probably last me many years of warm winter feet.
I'm hard to fit. I have extremely long arc length, wide through the toes and flat feet. When I saw the picture I thought there was a good chance of the shoes fitting due to its shape. Sort of a rounded loaf of bread shape. It has a very wide toe box as did my last 3 pairs of slippers as well as my New Balance walking shoes. Not to mention, ones foot is longer than the other. I bought these in a size 13 and they seem to work fairly well for both feet. The slipper sole looks sturdy and their priced fairly.
My only criticism is that I think they use a denser padding or more padding particular in the heal. The other solution might be to have a softer rubber sole but that might adversely affect the slipper durability.. But bottom line is the main reason I picked these besides the shape is that I can easily slip them on which is important because I''m recovering two major back Surgeries this year and those slippers are very easy to slip on and fairly comfortable.
I've been wearing these slippers (at home, not to work!) since moving from Hawai'i to coastal Maine - warm, comfortable and easy to slide your feet into!
Slippers arrived as scheduled and fit fine. I have a foot orthotic and was worried that it would accomodate the orthotic and my foot.
Slipper is comfortable and well made. There is no arch support like most slippers.
Size may be tricky. I ordered an 11 because of the orthotic even though I normally wear a 10 1/2 wide.It would have been too large without the orthotic.
