The fit is great and they are very comfortable. The "outdoor" sole is great for the stairs and quick trips outdoors. I bought a pair for my husband and his old slippers went right in wastebasket.

I got these as replacements for my brother when he went into the hospital. He has terminal cancer and his old ones were totally worn out. I think it helped his morale to have new, soft, comfortable slippers to wear around in the hospital and then back at home!
For the money, this is about the best overall slipper you can purchase at this time. I have purchased a pair or two of these almost ever year for as long as I can remember. They fit true to size, although I usually purchase a size larger for the comfort value. The thing I like most about these slippers is the sole, it is durable and gives support for the foot. I wish LL Beam would put this sole on a leather lined slipper, which would combine confort with durablilty.
