I love this sweater, but I despise having to take things to the dry cleaner, which is why I went ahead and threw it in the washer on delicate cycle despite what the tag says. On the whole, the sweater survived, but it lost a fair amount of "fuzz" as well as a couple of buttons. So if you plan on washing this sweater, you might want to reinforce the buttons before throwing the sweater in the washer.
I bought this on sale, despite some of the negative reviews. I'm average height 5'6'' and while it could be longer, it is long enough and fits well. Recommend wearing it over a shirt to keep warm.
