It was a cold, rainy day in Seattle when I received my sweater. It felt as if I put on a glove. I could feel the warmth and comfort of the sweater. I had a similar sweater years ago but this one is well made and worth the wait of owning another. I bought the navy blue color and it goes well with my wardrobe. Living in Seattle, the sweater is warm without bulk but can be layered.
The popcorn stitch cardigan is a great addition to my work wardrobe! The sycamore color works with a number of colors. I also got the pima cotton long sleeve scoop neck tee to go under the sweater. Could only give 4 stars b/c there was some pilling under the sweater arms after wearing the sweater to dinner for just two hours.
This is a beautiful product with great detailing, a beautiful color, and shape. I'd recommend ordering 1-2 sizes larger than you normally wear, though. The product tends to be a little trim and more tailored than some of the other cardigans I've ordered from L.L. Bean. (I usually order "Small" sweaters and had to order a "Large" in this one.)
So very pretty. I got the blue and the color is vibrant. The only disappointment is reading other reviews that said the sweater ran small. It doesnt for me. I ordered a medium and wish I had gotten a small. I say it fits true to size.
