There are enough reviews for this item but I had to let LLBean know how much I enjoy this cardigan. It is so cute, comfy and fits great. The weight is just the way I like. I have no idea why it is so flattering! Maybe it's the length...I do not normally wear short cardi, but this one is just right, not too short not too long. It does pill a bit, but acceptable. I think some pilling is normal for a wool sweater...If this item comes in light weight cotton/rayon yarn or something, that will make a lovely spring/summer sweater that can be worn over a summer dress. Only drawback for me is the regular pricing is quite high. I know that LLBean does their best to offer better quality merchandise for reasonable price, but I am hesitating to buy another.
This sweater is really nice, it has a very hand-made look which is great, and it looks very cute on. I took other reviewers advice and ordered up a size and I was glad I did, it fit perfectly. Definitely recommend.
This is a very lovely sweater...very retro and completely hand-made looking (as I'm sure it is!). It reminds me of a circa 1960's-type of knit. And, yes, it is itchy, so beware and be prepared with a thin cami/shirt to wear underneath. I am about 5'7" and 190lbs., and am a curvy gal in all respects; I got the XL in the pea green and the purple color. The green fit slightly looser than the purple, but both were very fitted in nature. I think this will look best with the top button buttoned and letting the rest hang. Note: if you are not checking this out in the sale section, they sell the same sweater for 19.99!! Quite a beautiful bargain!
Just received this in the chocolate brown color. It's a beautiful sweater and feels like it will be very warm once the fall/winter months get here. I agree with other reviewers that this does run small. I usually take a small in sweaters and tops at LLBean and ordered this in medium and it fits perfectly. I'm hoping it won't pill too much. Make sure you have a long sleeved shirt to wear underneath this as well... it is a bit itchy.
