This sweater is very pretty, both dressed up and casual. I personally prefer to wear a long sleeved shirt underneath, good thing LL Bean has the coordinating colors! I ordered a size up after reading the reviews and I agree, this sweater runs small. I usually wear an extra small but got a small and I am glad I did because this sweater runs very short. I am very short-waisted and this is borderline short for me. If you are tall, beware, this may not fit correctly.
I like this sweater. I just bought it on a 2 a day markdown. It does look as if it might pil though, and I pulled a couple of stray white rabbit? hairs out of the brown sweater, but all in all, its warm and will work for me. I like that it looks retro.
The sweater was beautiful in the pictures but when I tried it on, it was too short & square & I'm not a tall person at all. It just didn't look current. It looked like an older style & fashion from the past. Plan on returning it for something else.
