The sweater is great--I love the distinctive stitching and it's light-weight yet very warm. I bought the recommended t-shirt to wear under it and it's a perfect set.
I bought this sweater with the light weight shirred front blouse shown in the catalog and love the outfit. I wear a medium but bought the sweater in a large after reading other reviews and it fits just right. The only thing that bothers me about the sweater is that I could never wear it without a top under it as the wool is pretty scratchy. I would buy it again because I really like the style!
Ordered this sweater in brown in an XL - I usually wear a L (14), but ordered a size larger based on reviews and the sizing chart. The sweater was much larger and loose fitting than I expected - it fell about 8" past my waist and was almost baggy. I took it back to a local store intending to look for a smaller size and tried it on in pomegranate, which is a very pretty shade of coral. In this color the the XL fits just fine, although still a little longer than I expected (about 6" past my waist - I'm 5'5"). Overall I like it - its lightweight and warm. It does leave a little lint on my other clothes, but not more than I would expect from angora. The knit is fairly open and can be seen through a little. I've worn it three times and it is beginning to pill under the arms, but also not more that I would expect for wool.
I WOULD HAVE KEPT THIS SWEATER HAD IT NOT BEEN FOR THE COLOR. THE GREEN WAS INCONSISTENT WITH THE COLOR SHOWN ON LINE. THE SWEATER DOES RUN SMALL AND YOU SHOULD SIZE UP. I USUALLY WEAR A MEDIUM AND IT WAS SNUG IN THE ARMS. THE SWEATER WOULD HAVE BEEN BEAUTIFUL IF IT WERE THE COLOR SHOWN ON THE WEB SITE OR IN THE CATALOG. I SENT THIS ONE BACK.
