This sweater has a very cute retro look to it, and it is quite warm despite the wide weave. It is on the shorter side (as the description states) and only somewhat fitted, so even though I am under 5'4", I find I need to wear a longer shirt underneath and pulled out below the hem of the cardigan so that my torso doesn't look short and boxy. (Long sleeves are useful underneath anyway, as it is a touch itchy.) I would not have paid full price for this sweater, but it was worth the sale price to add something a little different to my cardigan collection.
Warm and cozy, but the buttons are not sewn on very well. One came off the 1st time I wore it, another the 2nd time. Only enough thread to sew 1 back on. It does pill easily. One of those sweaters you love but wear infrequently.
I love this cardigan. It is warm (wool) and looks elegant with ligth colored turtleneck underneath. Length could be 1 inch longer (per today's standards), but it is not short as is. The only disappointment was that buttons had been sewn not really good, and I had lost one of the button at the second time of wearing the cardigan. I used the spare button this time. But with the unique buttons it means that if one more button will be lost I would need to change all of them. Not a plesant prospect.
