This is an open-weave cardigan with nicely covered buttons. I bought two--one in red and one in brown. The cardigan fits hi-hip (a flattering line for the not-so-lithe) and has a nice opne-weave design. I change up the tee-shirts I wear underneath (since they show through) to match whatever I am wearing on the bottom. I love it!
I admired this sweater for weeks when my LL bean catalogs would arrive and finally gave in. I ordered the green and it is a very attractive as well as versatile cardigan. I checked the reviews first and would agree that you should order a size up. I am a size 8-10 but ordered a large and it fits just right. I like the fact that it falls right below the waist so is not too long.
This sweater is warm, comfortable and looks good on. It appears to have that homemade design. I would like to see more of these sweaters with the unique designs and quality. Love the yarn that was used to make this sweater.
I like the look and styling of this sweater. I dislike sweaters that are too long, and really appreciate that this one is shorter. It does run small, though -- I needed the next size up.
