I thought I would really like this sweater but the fit and styling looks matronly on me. The sleeves are longer than I prefer as well. It is going to be returned.
I purchased this for a family member and found that it is actually much smaller than I expected it would be for the size. The sleeves are slim and it is very form fitting. I was deceived by the picture, which looks like it is a more cotton-y type of sweater, and also loose fitting. Overall, it is a nice sweater, but I had to return it because the person was unable to wear it! Last, I did like the color choices!
It's still in the 80s here, but I can honestly say that I was VERY excited when I got my sweater! I love the crochet look of it and it has just the right shaping. I also got the long sleeved scoop neck shirt in the same color to wear under it. Come on cool weather! :-)
I like the sweater just fine, but I can't decide whether I will keep it. It looks great on top of the gathered-neck long-sleeved tee dyed to match. But the tee by itself is sloppy looking. In a heart-beat I'd keep the sweater if I could have a shell to match instead of the long-sleeved tee. If someone wants this sweater alone, I'd say buy it. Otherwise, not. Too bad the Yes-No question for reccomendation doesn't have a "Maybe" option,
