ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
My sister-in-law both have these boots. Both of us tried other styles/companies & love these. They are warm & comfortable. The seam where the rubber meets the leather rubbed my ankle a little, but all my Bean Boots have done that initially & then stopped. I have narrow feet, but haven't had an problem with the width. Also to my great surprise, I didn't have any problem with the height of the boot or leg opening being too big. (I'm 5'2" & definitely in the petite category. Would highly recommend these!
I bought these boots just in time for the thundersnows and ice storms the Mid-Atlantic - and I'm wearing them today. What I especially love about these boots is that I do not walk around feeling as though I might fall at any moment & break my ankle. I feel safe and sure footed. I have wide feet and fit into the straight size - so the width is actually perfect for me. They may be a bit heavy for some, but I'm ok with it. They are very warm and I've already started a small word of mouth campaign to encourage my friends to buy them because winter isn't over yet.
These beautiful boots are warm and comfortable. I usually wear a 9 1/2 with a slightly wide foot. LL Bean was right on to suggest go 1/2 size down. The 9's fit perfect. And delivered just in time for the Chicago Blizzard of 2011. Thanks LL Bean :-)
