A warm and practical boot! The shaft is wide enough for stuffing your jeans or leggings into but tall and stylish enough to wear with casual skirts. You do need to wear a medium weight sock with these. The interior band where the rubber "shoe" part meets the leather shaft tends to rub your ankles if you don't wear a sock. The shearling is very cozy and stylish and the boots are well made and sturdy.
ProsDurable, Great Value, Comfortable, Performing as Expected
I love it!! It is comfortable, very well-made and stylish. The boot is very light to walk on the thick Chicago snow. Now I love to put on my boots and go out for a walk with my dog and for the first time in my life, I fell in love with Chicago's long cold winter .

Recently purchased a pair for each of my two daughters who go to school in PA. were there's tons of snow and they are both raving about how wonderful the boots are! They are worth every penny:)
I finally broke down and bought these boots because I loved the look and needed a sturdy boot for walking my dogs in the nearby blueberry farm surrounding a small lake that is bog-like in the winter. I wear and 8.5, and and 8 fits fine, and after a week of wear I could get my insert into the boot. Like others have said, the ankles bunch a bit, and the zipper bunches into my left ankle, but the softening of the leather has eased that issue. My biggest disappointment is that the boots are not waterproof if you walk through water that rises above the zipper. I guess it's not surprising that water seeps through the zipper, but these boots don't actually work for the environment I walk in. Can't decide if I should keep them or not. I absolutely love them for kicking around, but they're not good for very soggy walks with the dogs.
