I inquired last year to see if these boots were made in a tall size or if I could get a custom pair. This year I thought I would try them and though I'm not overly tall (5'8" with a 32.5 inch inseam) these boots are too short and hit me mid calf, the widest point of my calf. I would like them to come to just below the knee.
I really like the boots but I'm hugely disappointed that they will have to be returned. They are too expensive to not be completely thrilled with them. I hope someone at LL Bean reads the review who is in a position to make changes so that in the future these boots can be offered in different heights or can offer a custom order.
I was excited to get these and had read the reviews that the calf was too tight. I just didn't think my calf was all that big, and I guess I was wrong because I had to return it as it didn't fit....calf was too tight. It would be helpful if size of calf was included on description. Other than that I am sure I would have enjoyed them.

These boots are so warm and comfy, and they are CUTE - hard to find in a great, functional winter boot. I've been wearing them since September and I know I'll wear them right into Spring. I've been searching for the perfect boots for years and as a result my closet is full of the wrong ones. Thank you for these - you answered my boot dreams!
