Great Boots
PostedFebruary 17, 2010
Got them just in time we have 28" of snow in 2 weeks. They keep me warm and dry the whole time out side working. Very hard to keep my feet warm and they did the job. Best snow boots I have ever own.

Surprise!

I bought this pair of boots for my daughter as a Christmas present. It wasn't her original choice of boots from LLB, her choice was back ordered into Feb 2010. I went into the local LLBean store and was able to find this particular boot on the display table in my daughter's size (size 7)!
I grabbed it and asked for the mate. After I purchased the boots, I drove to my daughter's work place and left them for her with a ribbon on the box and a note from "Santa". She was traveling that evening to visit friends in DC...December 19 and 20...the first large 25" snow fall we had in Maryland in over 5 years! She was so happy and very surprised to get the boots before her trip to DC!!! Washington, DC received 30 +" of snow that weekend. She loves the boots! Oh, her original choice was the L.L.Bean Boots, 10" Shearling-Lined, another good boot for snow activities. I am a repeat customer! Thanks for good quality and standing behind your products!!!

needs thicker soles
PostedFebruary 6, 2010
My boots came just in time for me to used in the DC mall, december snow of 2009. It's more than 2mile stretch mall with snow on the ground, though I wear my thickest socks,my feet was cold,it needs thicker rubber of the soles. I was dry the entire time, but my inner ankles are hurting and burning,I couldn't figure it out.

Perfection.

These are the definitive Michigan winter dog-walking boots. The full shearling lining is a treat, and I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that I could tuck my flannel-lined jeans into the boots without the dreaded "puffy knees" effect. And the fact that they're U.S.-made (in Maine, no less) is the icing on cake. Thank you, Bean workers!
