I live in Chicago and wanted a boot that can hold up to the snow and slush of the winter season. But I also wanted something that was stylish. These boots are big in the ankle area and looked sloppy because they were so wrinkley. I'm a half size and ordered the size up, but then the rest of the boot just seemed too big and bulky. I loved the pictures and the design, but just needed something a little more fitting.
I was looking for winter boots that are tall, practical for deep, wet snow, and would actually fit around my wide calves when fully zipped. It's hard to find "cute" and warm (OK, I live in the Idaho panhandle, and they're cute for farm country standards), but these boots are it, with the shearling lining throughout and the waterproof foot. The sole is very flexible, and there's not really much ankle support, so best not used for climbing or snowshoeing, but very comfortable for walking and driving. Great quality, fit best with thick sox; I'm very satisfied with them.
I found these boots that are tall and fuzzy inside and I knew the snow would be no match for them. I can wear light or midweight socks and feel very comfortable in them. They have a good sole that provides good traction.
