Well made! Very good fit with medium to thick socks. Very comfortable to wear and to walk. Insulates well and keeps one"s feet very dry. Highly recommend.
It is one of my missions in life to try and buy products made in the USA, or at least in places that pay their workers a fair wage. This is especially tough to do when it comes to footwear. I've been looking for winter boots for years and they are mostly made in Asia. I had a pair of lace up Bean boots back when I was in high school and I liked them but I needed something warmer for shoveling 200 feet of sidewalks by hand each snowfall. I was thrilled when I saw these boots in the catalogue and when I tried them on in the store it was love! I'm on the top end of 7 1/2 and my feet are a bit wide so the 8s worked better for me. Perfect amount of room for wearing with wool socks but I've also been known to run out to the store in them without bothering to put on socks. They feel like slippers that go all the way up my calf AND are waterproof. Hooray! I've seen similarly styled boots (without the Bean rubber foot form of course) made by other companies this season for about the same price. I'm glad that I'm giving my money to real folks in Maine to keep making quality products instead of supporting ever increasing profit margins by paying big bucks to buy something cheaply made elsewhere. Thanks for the great boots and supporting American workers LLBean!
I bought these for my daughter who loves horses and works in the barn every day. These boots are rugged, warm and sturdy. Easy to wash off. I would recommend these for any outdoor activity - plus they are comfy too!
Got these as Xmas gift for my daughter. She goes to school in Maine. She loves them! They fit perfectly, are stylish and warm!!! A bit expensive, but worth it!
