Purchased this boot for my fashion forward daughter headed off to college in cold New England. She fell in love with these boots. Fit was excellent and she was thrilled with the comfort. Now all she is waiting for is some weather to test them in.
I had been waiting for years for LL Bean to come out with tall Bean Boots that I can wear over my jeans, and these are fantastic. The shearling inside is super plush which will keep my feet warm, and the side zipper makes for an easy entry. I ordered true to my size and there is plenty of room for thick socks.
The only problem I have with them is that the upper part around the calf (shank?) is roomier than I'd like, especially once the shearling gets matted down, making them a little less sexy than I wanted. Nevertheless, I can't wait to attack the slush in these!
