I hesitated about spending so much on a pair of boots, but I absolutely love these. They are true to size - if anything, just a little too big which is perfect for wearing with a pair of socks. I have been recommending them to all my friends and have received many compliments on them. They are warm, and dry and wonderful.

I am actually wearing them right now as it is pouring down rain and cold outside. They are soft, warm, and cute. I was concerned about the sizing due to some comments, but was pleasantly surprised that they fit quite perfectly. I have a small foot (usually wear a 5 1/2 to a 6) and thought that the 6 might be too large per sizing comments. But like I said...the size 6 fit great. I shall definitely order from L.L. Bean again.

I needed something waterproof and warm (like weatherproof Uggs with treads), and I wanted something made in the USA. I was back-and-forth between this and the lace-up ones that are on LL Bean Signature. I went for these because of the zip. These go on fast! They do run large. My only complaint is that the shaft is SUPER wide. I could fit snowpants in the boots, and pull them off without unzippering.
